When I went to see the Rockyhorror
Show there was this girl who played Columbia and I recognised her voice
but I couldn't think of who it was, then I looked at the programme I found
it was Jo Gibb! She played an excellent Columbia she was so funny! Well
I was lucky enough to meet Jo after the show! I heard someone coming down
the stairs and I said the Celia (Lee's mum) that Jo, then she came out
and said "Hello did you enjoy the show?" I said yeah and Jo said "It's
abit raunchy for you!" I asked her for her autograph and I chatted with
her about CATS and stuff. Then Jo said to me "Is it you that's coming to
have your picture taken tomorrow night?" I was like not that I know of!
Then she said "Well, maybe it isn't you then." then we chatted agian about
dancing and singing then we said goodbye! The next day Lee phoned to say
that I was having my picture taken with Jo! I was so excited and I thought
well it was me she was speaking about! I wrote her a letter to say thank
you ect. We went to the stage door that night at 9:30 when she came out
Lee said to Jo this is the girl Emily was speaking about, then Jo said
"I said that last night" then I said "I didn't find out until this morning"
she then said "Come and give me a hug!" and we got our photo taken her
black jacket was so cozy I was like Jo I'm going away with your jacket!
I said to her I've got something for you and she said "Oh what have you
got?" then I gave her the letter and she said thank you! Lee asked Jo if
she could write me a little message on a piece of paper he had and she
wrote...... To Sam with much love, kisses & Good Luck Jo Gibb X She
then asked for a copy of the pictures! Jo said that she liked my jacket
and she then said to me "God your shoes are really high!"
I then met Jo for the last time on Saturday! I had bought her a teddy and a bar of chocolate. I went to the stage door and the guy sent up a message to Jo asking her to come down to the stage door, Lucy cam down (She played Magenta in Rocky Horror)and said that she was working (singing)and asked if I could wait 10 minutes. Then Jo came down (drinking water out of flask)and said "Hi babe I'll be with you in a minute ok?!" When she came back I gave her the teddy and the chocolate then she said "Oh bless!"
I spoke to Jo and I said that
I had some godd picctures of her as Rumpleteazer. Then Jo asked "Is that
the ones from really useful group?" When I said no she was like oh! then
I explained to her how to see them and she said "I'll have to check it
out" She also asked if it was pictures from the Video, I also told her
that there were morphs of her into Rumpleteazer! and she said "Of me into
Rumpleteaer?" I said yeah there cool! she then asked the guy at the stage
door if he would take a picture of us together. Jo then said "I'll have
to go for something to eat, I'll have a piece of this Chocolate! Do you
want a piece?" I said no though! then Jo started to explaing to me that
she had to do voice warm-ups, get into costume, have her make-up done and
do a couple of mic checks. then she said "Give me a kiss" so I did and
she hoped to see me again if she was ever touring with something in Aberdeen.
I said I heard it was quiet the first few nights! then Jo said "Yeah we
were like oh Aberdeen's quiet!" So Jo hopes to keep in touch! Meeting Jo
was a very nice experience she is so friendly and sweet! I love her Scottish
Accent!
